The Knox County Sheriff’s Department K-9 “Uzzi” and handler Levi Archer are now complete with their training. That means “Uzzi” is now ready to work the County’s roads and highways as a full K-9 officer.
Knox County Sheriff Doug Vantlin says the 14-month old dog has joined a group of other capable dog officers. Sheriff Vantlin informs us “Uzzi” and her handler are inseparable,
“Uzzi” was bred in Europe specifically for police work. She was brought over to the United States specifically for use by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.
